Prototyping

One of the most exciting times in the invention process is seeing the prototype of your invention for the first time. Prototyping is making a model of your invention, which can then be further tested if necessary and can allow one to check measurements and other specifics before proceeding with full-scale production. We want to ensure your satisfaction with our realization of your invention from the beginning stages of the thought process through to the final production. There are three basic types of prototypes. The Virtual Prototype is an animated computer rendering of the product, showing what it will look like and how it will work. The White Model or rough prototype has the shape and dimensions, but not necessarily the material of the final product. The Production Prototype is the real thing, and is the last stage before final production.

When you see the prototype of your invention, it allows you to finally touch the real product. It may have existed on paper or on CAD, but a prototype made of the materials that the final product will be made from will let you know for sure that your dreaming and imagining was not in vain. The end will finally be in sight, even though there are still a few important steps.

Research is part of the complete prototyping process. Adesigner.com will look at products that may be similar to yours and find out how their construction works. We will talk to experts who might use your invention. We will make necessary changes to dimensions and materials if necessary and practice using your invention for the purpose you had in mind to find out if the specs are correct and if we're on the right track.

Prototyping might be seen as the half-way mark in the life of an invention. If you're interested, we would be happy to discuss with you the steps that are involved in prototyping. Please fill out the information request form or email info@adesigner.com with your full name, address, phone and what help you are looking for. We will send you our confidentiality agreement for your protection. We want to help not only make your invention a reality, but we will help it become a success.
